Translator’s notes:

1 = kayou has a lot of meaning, like “going regularly”, “to commute”, “going back and forth” or “being alive”
2 = Here he says “Sora” what means sky, but “chuu” is actually the word for everything belonging to what’s above us, such as “air”, “mid-air”, “space” and the like, but it can also mean “interval of time” or memorization
3= kan/han is actually used for referring to china but the Kanji itself can also be used for man.
4 = “kureru” has two meanings either “to start something/to be albe to do something”, “to be given” or “to come to an end.” Why he doesn’t use any Kanji here will mostly show up in the end. In my opinion he did an awesome play with the words here.
5 = ashi is actually foot, but I thought step would rather make sense here.
6 = actually “ashi” with this kanji can mean “foot”, “leg”, but also “walking” and some other not fitting stuff in this case like ruinousness of food.
