Hydrangea

I think it was a nice smell from passed days. Until I will wither weakly I will have cried in vain.
Even it might be a mistake I’m leaving this place. Because there was just one umbrella I got all wet when I said you good bye.
A hydrangea blooms at the corner of the street which bends to your room. A short distance, a distance which is still far away.
Violet that dyes the nails of my bend up hand as well as the forelock hanging down to my eyelash grew a little.
I didn’t knew when I found you once.
'One year' was the time I regretted in vain. I realized in the morning of meeting again that I can't smile because of the things I have to bear*1 for my life*2 by myself.
I become a swirl of grief and myself.
For the temporary good-bye*3 I wave my hand and turn around. At my ring-finger is a mark* of sunburn.

Translator's notes:
*1 = 背負う(seou) means literary something like ‘to carry a burden on your back’

*2 =暮らし(kurashi) is actually used for ‘subsistence’ but I changed it here to ‘life because I thought this translation would make more sense in this context.

*3 = 「またね。」と手を振って(mata ne to te o futte) is a little play with the phrase ‘sayounara to te o futte’ – To wave the hand for a farewell. ‘Mata ne’ is also a kind of good-bye, but just for a short time, just like ‘see you later’. I did not want to use the word ‘good-bye’ or ‘farewell’ because that would not fit the meaning here, so I changed it a little and now it’s a ‘temporary good-bye’. If you have a better idea feel free to tell me.
